DONALD F. TINNY,

Don
Tinny was born in Clearwater and graduated from Clearwater High
School. He attended the University of Florida where he played football
and was a three year letterman. He received his Juris Doctor degree
from the University Of Nebraska College Of Law where he attended
his first two years of law school, and finished his degree as a
visiting student at the University Of Florida College Of Law. Don
is an experienced trial attorney and is a member of the Florida,
St. Petersburg, and Clearwater Bar Associations.
After
completing his law degree Don served as an Assistant State Attorney
for the Sixth Judicial Circuit in Pinellas County, Florida. During
his time as a Prosecutor, Don handled a variety of criminal cases
and served as; Lead Trial Attorney, DUI Manslaughter Prosecutor,
Domestic Violence Prosecutor, North County Traffic Division Prosecutor,
and as an instructor at the Saint Petersburg College SEPSI Police
Academy.
Since
leaving the State Attorney’s Office Don has been practicing
Criminal Defense in Pinellas, Hillsborough, Pasco, Hernando, and
Manatee Counties. He has defended clients in both felony and misdemeanor
criminal cases as well as at dependency and injunction hearings.
